OSU Master Gardeners "Plastic Recycling Project" - Recycle your garden pots, flats, trays, plastic sheeting, plastic toys, etc. at Barnes Nursery (1283 NE Catawba Rd, Port Clinton); Bench's Greenhouse (St. Rt. 105, Elmore); Bench Farms (Rt. 2, Curtice)   Agricultural and garden chemical containers are NOT accepted.

 

 

What can you do to “Keep Lake Erie Clean”?  If you are a farmer or landowner the Ottawa Soil and Water Conservation District and Natural Resources Conservation Service will pay you to establish 20’ FILTER STRIPS along your land next to ditches.  Call 419-898-1595 to see if you qualify for this great cost-share program.
