Our Mission

To assist, promote and educate our community in soil and water conservation.

2014 Spring Fish Sale orders are now being taken.  Many options are available for restocking or increasing diversity in your pond.  Orders must be placed prior to May 9th, and fish pickup will take place on May 20th.   form14 fish

2014 Tree Sale orders are now being accepted.  Select from a variety of seedlings, saplings, and shrubs.  Also introducing a new wildlife seedling pack composed of 5 species of Oak.  Orders must be placed by April 4th. TREE FLYER 2014.pdf


What can you do to “Keep Lake Erie Clean”?  If you are a farmer or landowner the Ottawa Soil and Water Conservation District and Natural Resources Conservation Service will pay you to establish 20’ FILTER STRIPS along your land next to ditches.  Call 419-898-1595 to see if you qualify for this great cost-share program.
